RULEBOOK
DECK & SETUP​
-
Exactly 20 cards, max 2 of any card, at least one Stage 1 Creature.
-
Shuffle your deck and draw 7 cards -If you do not have at least one Stage 1 Creature, reshuffle and redraw (Mulligan: +10 damage to your Active Creature for each reshuffle).
-
Choose a Stage 1 Creature from your hand as your Active Creature. You may place up to 3 additional Stage 1 Creatures on your Bench.
Starting Player

Roll a six-sided die to determine who goes first:
-
1-3: Player 1 goes first
-
4-6: Player 2 goes first
-
TURN OVERVIEW​​
-
Draw Phase – Draw 1 card from your deck.
-
Play Phase – You may play 1 Gear Card and 1 Gig Card per turn. Discard after use.
-
Venue Phase – You may have 1 Venue Card in play at a time. Playing a new Venue replaces the old one. Venue effects apply to both players.

Evolution Phase – You may evolve 1 Stage per turn (cannot evolve on the first turn).

Retreat Phase – Discard 2 cards to switch your Active Creature with a Benched Creature. - or - Take a shot.

Attack Phase – Roll a six-sided die to determine attack.

1: Star Power Attack – Choose any attack

2-3: Mid Attack

4-6: Minor Attack

Apply damage and effects - end turn.
BENCH RULES

​​Benched Creatures cannot attack.

Damage carries over when moving a Creature between Active and Bench positions.
WINNING THE GAME
​The first player to defeat and collect 3 of their opponent’s creatures wins, or if the opponent runs out of benched creatures.
OPTIONAL RULE
Keep any Stage 1 Creature cards you defeat in battle to grow your collection.
