Bambi and the Wolves is an LA-based alternative indie rock band formed during the pandemic, when a group of filmmaker friends laid off from the Sony Pictures mailroom turned quarantine afternoons into cathartic punk-disco songwriting sessions.
The band was founded in 2021 by Midwest-raised front woman, guitarist, and recording drummer Bambi “Heather Rolison,” and joined by Los Angeles natives Joe Lopez on lead guitar and Chris Granados on bass, The band now echoes through the LA underground, from DIY stages to back-room clubs.

The wolf pack also includes rotating live drummers Dimitri Nooch and Chuey, frontman of the indie band Sadname. Bambi and the Wolves released their debut EP, SUGAR STORM, in 2022 along with three singles, and now return with their latest release, BOXERS, dropping November 28 — the first in a wave of high-energy tracks blending punk-disco grit, grungy guitars, and catchy indie hooks you can’t help but bounce to, recorded DIY in their home studio and set to roll out through 2026.
