I have been telling stories for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always had a camera in hand and a fascination with the human experience. Therefore, my stories, photographs, and videography tend to be character driven, diverse and focused on what makes us each unique. I strive to deliver representation within the media that I never had growing up. I have a strong interest in providing fashion and culture influence by challenging traditional gender/racial stereotypes within my own life, as well as in the worlds I create on screen.
I graduated from Compass College of Cinematic Arts May 11, 2019, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts Degree (Film/Media Production - Focus on writing.) There I polished my technical skills, as well as developed a stronger understanding of story structure. Everyone has a story and film is a way for me to share the connections that sometimes get overlooked.
In this digital age, storytelling has become an extremely powerful tool, and as such, comes with great responsibility. I hope to share a piece of who I am and leave the audience with a fresh perspective and a yearning to explore the stories within their own lives.
